May Feminine Fellowship: Mother, mothering, motherhood

We gather as women who are mothers, who wanted to be mothers, who have lost mothers, who are mothers to children no longer with us, who want to celebrate our mothers, who struggle with our mothers, who wish we could be better mothers, who wish for better mothers, who want to honour our wonderful mothers, and grieve our wounded mothers, who are new mothers, mothers in waiting, and mothers many times over. We gather as women who embody our Greatest Mother.

Our feminine fellowship this month will be focused on motherhood. We all have a relationship to mothering, whether we have or had a wonderful or strained relationship with our mother, whether we have children, lost children, or never got to have children, whether our mother is still with us or is no longer with us. During our circle we will hold space for one another as we celebrate, remember, grieve and process.

Please speak to Lauren if you would like her to create a ritual or ceremony such as

💚 Celebrating new mothers who have never had the rite of passage of motherhood marked.

💚 Processing and grieving if you or a loved one never got to raise their child and never got an opportunity to grieve.

💚 Honouring and remembering a mother who is no longer with you.

This event is donation based and all proceeds from this feminine fellowship will go to supporting the important work Tree of Hope undertakes.

Tree of Hope is a care centre in Edenvale, which cares for children surrendered by vulnerable mothers who are not in a position to care for their child, and supports vulnerable mothers to improve their circumstances.
